Description

If you want to see authentic Koh Phangan but do not want to rent a car or bike in Thailand (on Koh Samui) or prefer to travel with a group of tourists, this tour will give you a complete idea of the island, its beaches, main sights and will show the atmosphere of the island.

A three-motor speedboat will quickly transfer you to Thong Sala at Koh Phangan, where your English-speaking guide and Thai vehicle – songthaew will wait.

You will visit the Chinese Temple of Phangan with the Guan Yin statue (the parishioners of the temple bring the threads of pearls that almost completely cover the statue).

Then you will go to a small local crocodile farm where you will see a show with crocodiles and watch how monkeys (who are trained in a special ape school and receive a certificate of “coconut collectors”) masterfully twist mature coconuts from tall palms.

Afterward, you can relax (about 1.5 hours) on the magical beach of Mae Haad. From this beach, you reach the island of Koh Ma by walking along the sand spit (at the period of low tides). The island is famous for its coral reefs and you can explore underwater life (masks and snorkels are provided). After bathing, you can have a good relaxing massage on the beach (for half an hour or an hour).

During your lunchtime, you will be served Thai (not spicy) dishes. If you are a vegetarian, please tell us or your guide in advance.

The next points are Fishermen village (pier) on Chaloklum beach and famous Haad Rin beach (where the world-famous Full Moon Party takes place), you will make a stop near the biggest tree of Koh Phangan, which is 400 years old.

Then you will head to the small elephant farm (Tawan Safari park), where you can feed animals with bananas. Try to hide the basket with bananas, as the “cunning” elephants find it very quickly and immediately make the basket empty. In this case, you will not have time to take funny photos and enjoy the moment. The elephants on this farm look healthy, cheerful and very active, that says about proper care and love of the owners for these animals.

And finally, an hour of relaxation on the snow-white Haad Rin beach – bathing, sunbathing, a cup of freshly prepared coffee in the coastal cafe …

• 08.00-08.20 Transfer from the hotel
• 08.45 Check-in, breakfast at the pier
• 09.00 Departure to Koh Phangan
• 09.30 The first stop on the island – ‘Chinese temple’.
• 10.30 Visiting of an authentic fishing village.
• 11.00 Going to Phangan Safari to take photos with animals and feeding the elephant with a coffee break provided.
• 12.00 Arrive at Koh Mah, where most of the beautiful corals can be found while snorkeling or relaxing on the beach.
• 13.30 Lunchtime.
• 14:30 Going to Khao Tham Temple, a place with a 180 degrees panoramic view of the beautiful place lies. And be excited about the biggest Yang Na Tree more than 200 years old.
• 15:00 Going to Haad Rin where the world famous “Full Moon Party” are held every month for fun and relaxing.
• 16:00 Depart from Koh Phangan back to Koh Samui. 16.30 Arrival at Koh Samui. Transfer to the hotel.
